A Kenyan lady who moved to the United States for greener pastures has surprised many with her candid revelation about the dating scene abroad.
In a viral TikTok video, Edna Kimitei (@ednakimitei1) shared her honest experience, admitting that getting a boyfriend in the U.S. is not as easy as back home.
“Let me be honest. In some countries, men are scarce. It’s not like Kenya, where a man will approach you just walking down the street,” she said.
Edna humorously advised fellow ladies that being bold is now a requirement if they want to find love abroad, joking that women must now do the chasing.
“Things are tough here. You need courage to approach a man. Ladies, men are scarce,” she laughed.
