Gachagua Claims Domestic Tension Between President Ruto and First Lady Rachael Ruto

Former Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua has made explosive claims regarding President William Ruto’s private life, suggesting that ongoing domestic tensions with First Lady Rachael Ruto are the reason for her conspicuous absence from several public functions.

Speaking candidly during a church service, Gachagua alleged that the friction had become so pronounced that President Ruto even advised him to stop appearing in public alongside his own wife, Pastor Dorcas Gachagua.

He further recounted an incident at State House where the President attempted to have Mama Dorcas removed from an official event. Gachagua claims he stood his ground, declaring that he would only allow his wife to leave if Raila Odinga’s spouse, who was also present, left too. The standoff reportedly shocked the President, resulting in Pastor Dorcas staying put while First Lady Rachael Ruto was nowhere to be seen.
